Silversmith

I would want to be a silversmith because, they use hammers and tongs. The colonist turn in their silver coins to the silversmith ,so they could be made into more useful stuff because they didn’t have banks back then.It takes years of practice to do this job well.If he/she chips the silver,it cost a lot of money. They also have to be very patient ,careful, and have skilled hands to do this job.

Jamestown or Plymouth

I choose Jamestown because it’s farther south and that means it’s a little warmer during the winter. Jamestown may have grew tobacco and Plymouth grew in population, but Jamestown only planned to stay until they found gold, while Plymouth planed to stay in the New World(America). When the people from England landed(the people who made Jamestown) they were almost all rich. They had a royal charter from the king of England to colonize. When they left England they began to sail to what is now Virginia. They learned how to hunt and farm from the nearby Native Americans. That is why I choose Jamestown.
